CCBR is the Secretariat for Community Based Research Canada (CBRC), and we are pleased to announce that three new board members have joined CBRC– a national champion and facilitator for community-based research and campus-community engagement in Canada. CBRC is proud to welcome Crystal Tremblay, Isabelle Kim, and Dave Heidebrecht to the board of directors. They bring with them a wealth of experience. Dave is the Manager for the Office of Community Engagement at McMaster University. Isabelle is a lecturer at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) and the Director at the Centre for Community Partnerships, University of Toronto. Crystal is an Assistant Professor in Department of Geography as well as the Special Advisor on Community Engaged Scholarship at the University of Victoria. To read their bios, click here.
