Welcome New Intern Student, Farah Jurdi to CCBR!

Farah Jurdi (she/her) is a 4th year Business, Social Development Studies, and Peace and Conflict Studies student at the University of Waterloo. She is particularly interested in community organization and engagement, always striving to meaningfully contribute to building more supportive and equitable communities. Farah is always open to learning about anti-oppression and decolonizing approaches and ways of being to her work and everyday life.
Farah is looking forward to working with CCBR in her apprenticeship to learn about and participate in community initiatives committed to social justice. When she is not working or studying, Farah enjoys attending live music events, volunteering, and hosting dinner and game gatherings with friends.
