Title: Participatory research in Canada (2013-2018): a cross-sectional survey of academic researchers
CCBR’s Senior Researcher, Sarah Switzer, was a co-author in a recently published article, Participatory research in Canada (2013-2018): a cross-sectional survey of academic researchers, in the journal of Science and Public Policy. The study, led by Dr Zack Marshall and team, aimed to map and better understand the landscape of participatory research within Canadian academia—specifically, who is conducting participatory research and what individual or institutional factors are associated with participatory research. Through findings gleaned through a national survey, the study seeks to generate insights that can inform science policy, funding decisions, and the creation of more supportive environments for research coproduction.
