We are pleased to congratulate Sarah Switzer, CCBR Director of Research and Education, Hani Sadati, CCBR Senior Researcher, and Janna Martin, CCBR Senior Researcher – and co-authors - on the publication, “From Research to Creation: The ‘Behind the Scenes’ Steps of Participatory Podcasting for Knowledge Dissemination” in the open-access Journal of Participatory Research Methods.
The chapter was co-authored Kristina Fuentes and Elizabeth Mansfield at Trillium Health Partners, alongside Casey Burkholder, Concordia University and Francisco Ibáñez-Carrasco, University of Toronto.
The article explores the behind-the-scenes steps of “Let me Just Share my Screen” – a collaboratively-produced podcast about online participatory visual methods, and infographic series. Together, authors “describe concrete steps and processes involved in participatory podcast development as a knowledge sharing strategy. Following these steps, [they] discuss lessons learned, outlining the opportunities, tensions, and challenges of podcasting for participatory dissemination.”
Happy reading and listening! Tune in wherever you get your podcasts.
