ANNOUNCEMENT! The Centre for Community Based Research (CCBR), in partnership with the Evaluation Capacity Network (ECN) at the University of Alberta, has launched a new online hub for organizations who need support to evaluate their direct and indirect settlement services!
Please check out eval4settlement.ca to review the many ways to use the Hub!
We offer self-directed resources and a host of services, from workshops tailored to specific communities to one-on-one support developing your evaluation or [integrating equity reporting into your existing plan]. We’ve provided services to hundreds of service provider organizations (SPOs), Local Immigration Partnerships (LIPs), and Umbrellas across Canada.
More specifically, our fee-based services can help you implement community-based evaluation in your organization in the following ways:
CONDUCT: We can help you to co-develop your theory of change (aligned with IRCC's logic model), co-design your methodology and information gathering tools, and even implement your evaluation overtime.
COACH: Let us be your talking partner as you explore evaluation options, trouble shoot, and adopt IRCC requirements such as GBA+.
TRAIN: We can customize specific workshops for your organization or community to build evaluation skills and effectively mobilize findings.
CERTIFY: Gain a certificate in community-based evaluation by completing our 14 hour online course, part of CCBR's Certificate Program.
