Grant Writing Resource

At CCBR, we partnered with the City of Brantford to develop a sustainability planning package designed to strengthen the long-term funding readiness and organizational sustainability of local service providers. The package serves as a practical, adaptable resource that helps organizations navigate future funding opportunities while building confidence in grant development, program planning, and reporting processes.

This work includes the development of accessible guidance materials on effective grant writing, logic model development, project budgeting, and program planning checklists. It also includes an environmental scan of local, provincial, and national funding opportunities, with a particular focus on identifying local and youth-oriented funding streams where possible. The package provides organizations with tools they can return to over time as they pursue new funding opportunities and strengthen internal planning processes.

The project also supports curriculum development focused on increasing funding literacy and proposal development skills among learners.
