Facilitating Conversations about High-Performance and Low-Carbon Buildings
CCBR is working with the Bay Area Climate Change Council to co-design and facilitate the workshop, “High-Performance Buildings in the Bay Area.” This in-person session brings together a coalition of interest holders, including market and non-market housing developers, building professionals, skilled trades, and technology providers to explore how they can collectively accelerate high-performance, low-carbon housing within a policy-constrained environment. Through facilitated discussions and collaborative activities, participants will share real-world examples of market innovation already underway, helping to build confidence that high-performance and low-carbon housing could be delivered locally and immediately. The workshop will identify the most promising market-based opportunities for advancing these housing solutions. Aimed to strengthen relationships among key actors, this session will lay the groundwork for future collective action in the Hamilton and Burlington Bay Area.
