CCBR supporting the National Settlement Sector Capacity-Building on Gender-Based Violence Strategy

On Thursday December 12, 2019, CCBR facilitated a workshop on Evaluation Planning for partners working on the National Settlement Sector Capacity-Building on Gender-Based Violence Strategy. Representatives from YMCA Halifax, the Ending Violence Association of Canada, OCASI, CISSA-ACESI and MOSAIC-BC, participated in a two-day session supported by researcher Salina Abji, facilitators Deepa Mattoo and Faith-Ann Mendes, and Jess Notwell from CCBR. The Evaluation Planning workshop provided an overview of community-based evaluation and provided an opportunity for partners to discuss draft indicators for key project outcomes contained in the Logic Model. The next step will be for the partners to decide on their evaluation process.
