From 2017-2022, the Centre for Community Based Research (CCBR) acted as the Secretariat for CBRCanada. CBRCanada is a membership-based non-profit committed to advancing community-based research excellence in Canada by strengthening partnerships, bridging capacity, mobilizing knowledge, and championing community-based research among individuals, communities, and institutions.
As part of our role as secretariat, CCBR staff coordinated all day to day operations of CBRCanada including programs and membership. For seven years, we were fortunate to learn and grow alongside CBRCanada and its membership. This January, the CBRCanada Secretariat transitioned from the Centre for Community Based Research (CCBR) to Wilfrid Laurier University campus.
CCBR is still a proud institutional member of the CBRCanada and we look forward to keeping in touch with members at upcoming events, workshops and conferences!
