John served with Mennonite Central Committee Ontario from 2014 to 2023 initially as Associate Executive Director and later as Executive Director. Prior to that he spent 30+ years in executive management roles in Finance and Human Resources in the manufacturing sector.

John holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in Business Administration, and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).

John serves on several boards, and enjoys an active lifestyle including pickleball, running, and cycling.

John and his wife Penny are proud parents of 7 adult children and 13 grandchildren.
