CCBR collaboratively designs and conducts research on pressing community issues. From projects with a grassroots community group, to systems change initiatives, to large national partnerships, we bring expertise in collaboratively building and maintaining research partnerships, and equitably engaging community members and partners in research design, data collection, and knowledge sharing. We are also experienced in designing studies using quantitative, qualitative and arts-based methods.

CCBR collaboratively designs and conducts program evaluations, organizational reviews, and system-change evaluations to ensure relevant and actionable results for organizations and those most impacted. We bring expertise in developing logic models and theories of change, conducting and designing surveys, focus groups and interviews, and moving findings into action.

CCBR brings together community leaders, organizations, and scholars to co-create tailored resources to share ideas and build collective capacity. We support the development of practical tools like toolkits, websites, podcasts, and educational materials that address community needs, promote equity, and drive social change.

CCBR supports community organizations in assessing community needs and resources within and across programs, sectors and regions. We stress the importance of collaboration in developing effective solutions.

CCBR co-designs and facilitates participatory group processes to engage and empower community members, organizations, and other partners in community, organizational, and system-level planning, co-design, and dialogue. Our team relies on a variety of participatory and creative methods that provoke dialogue, incite action, and build strong relationships.
