Jessica Deming
Board Member
Jessica holds a BSc in Health Studies (University of Waterloo), an MSc in Epidemiology and Biostatistics (Western University), and an MSW (Wilfrid Laurier University). She worked for many years as an epidemiologist with the Region of Waterloo Public Health. More recently, she is a manager at the Public Health Agency of Canada of a small but mighty team working to share population health information with Canadians in modern and engaging ways. She is passionate about making data and research work for the benefit of people and communities.
Jessica is a long-time member of the Association for Public Health Epidemiologists of Ontario (APHEO) and is a volunteer reviewer with the Community Research Ethics Office. She is also currently serving on the Board for the Waterloo Region Suicide Prevention Council. She is a mom to three lively girls and enjoys hiking, biking, reading, road trips, and being with family and friends.
