Sherry joined CCBR in fall 2019 working on an evaluation project. Prior to CCBR, she worked as a program evaluation and research assistant identifying inconsistencies in the delivery of fitness programs geared to 55+ population in Tri-cities of Cambridge and Kitchener-Waterloo. She has experience administering questionnaires and conducting key-informant interviews with sensitive population for quality improvement purposes. She believes that working at CCBR allows her to accomplish her mission as a public health practitioner: making positive changes in the lives of people in her community.

Sherry completed a Master’s in Public Health at the University of Waterloo. Her areas of interest in public health are Health Policy Analysis; Public Health Program Evaluation; Health and Risk Communication; and Quantitative Data Analysis. She completed her BA in Occupational Health and Safety Engineering with an interest in workplace health and safety promotion.

Sherry loves traveling. She likes photography and spending time with her Persian cat. She is a fan of group fitness activities and her favorite exercise is TRX.
