Sherry joined CCBR in fall 2019 working on an evaluation project. Prior to CCBR, she worked as a program evaluation and research assistant identifying inconsistencies in the delivery of fitness programs geared to 55+ population in Tri-cities of Cambridge and Kitchener-Waterloo. She has experience administering questionnaires and conducting key-informant interviews with sensitive population for quality improvement purposes. She believes that working at CCBR allows her to accomplish her mission as a public health practitioner: making positive changes in the lives of people in her community.

Sherry completed a Master’s in Public Health at the University of Waterloo. Her areas of interest in public health are Health Policy Analysis; Public Health Program Evaluation; Health and Risk Communication; and Quantitative Data Analysis. She also has a Master’s in Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Management with an interest in Conservation Psychology and a BA in Occupational Health and Safety Engineering with an interest in workplace health promotion.

Sherry loves traveling. She likes photography and spending time with her Persian cat. She is a fan of group fitness activities and her favorite exercise is TRX.
