Guelph-Wellington Newcomer Youth Mental Health Study

CCBR is launching a new research project with the Guelph Wellington Local Immigration Partnership. The purpose of this project is to investigate the broader challenges newcomer youth experience with mental health in city of Guelph and County of Wellington. In addition, the study will provide evidence-based recommendations on how to improve mental health outcomes for newcomer youth, and further support immigrant service provider organizations to help youth overcome barriers and fulfill their potential. The project will use key informant interviews, focus groups, and surveys and will end with a community forum.
