Knowledge Mobilization Products
Over the course of five years, CURA Partners successfully utilized multiple knowledge mobilization strategies to disseminate and transfer knowledge gained to mental health service users, practitioners (mental health and ethno-racial service providers), students, policy-makers, and academics. They engaged many individuals and groups in the conversation about how to develop more culturally effective mental health policy and practice in Canada. They shared the study findings and furthered the dialogue about the issue using many avenues, including:
• Academic articles
• Conference presentations
• Workshops
• Bi-annual newsletters
• Community forums
• Two professional theatre productions based on research findings
• Roundtable discussion with policy makers and funders
• Two CURA conferences
