Conference 2009

On December 4th, 2009, CURA Partners hosted a conference to share the learnings gained during the five years of our CURA and to deepen the understanding of how to make mental health supports more effective for culturally diverse Canada. The conference brought together 145 practitioners, community members, academics, funders, and students to deepen the understanding of how to provide culturally effective mental health supports.

Conference participants received a document called CURA Brief Notes.

Program. A full day of discussions and presentations brought conference participants together to share their insights, passion, ideas, humour, and energy for improving the mental health system. 145 people came from various parts of Ontario, including Toronto, Waterloo Region, Niagara, Ottawa, London, and more locations to join in the dialogue.
