Before joining as a full-time staff member, Yasir worked as a contract researcher with the CCBR. He has great interest in using qualitative research as a means of facilitating social change. He has worked on different projects in Canada and in a number of countries overseas, on a wide-range of social issues. His interests include cultural diversity and immigration issues, international development, gender, democratic governance and poverty alleviation.

Other Interests

Yasir likes meeting people from across the globe and making new friends. Keeping himself abreast of the latest international developments is one of his ongoing interests.
