Kokila Khanna, President
Koki was born and raised in Kenya, a second generation East Indian who graduated with LL.B. from The London School of Economics and Political Science in 1976. She was called to the Bar at the Inner Temple and then returned to Kenya. Koki was admitted as an advocate of the High Court of Kenya and practiced in Nairobi until she moved to Canada in 1990. She re-qualified and was called to the Bar in Ontario in June, 1992. Koki has had her own law practice since October, 1993. Koki has served on the Board of Directors of Focus for Ethnic Women and was president for two years. She is a current Board member of YWCA Kitchener Waterloo and is the current President of the India-Canada Association of Waterloo Region. Koki is a volunteer mediator for the Resolve Programme run by the Community Justice Programme. |
