Cross "X" Generational ConversationProject's Purpose
Aiding Dramatic Change in Development (ADCID) and the Centre for Community Based Research are partnering in a community development project in Niagara Falls. It began in October, 201, in order to facilitate cross-generational dialogue and relationship building among adults and youth in newcomer communities. The project will use Socio-Drama Topography - an arts based engagement process that combines community mapping with non-verbal dialogue and socio-drama exercises. This process allows participants to explore and discuss social issues and work towards change in their community. Socio-Drama Topography was developed by ADCID during their 7 years of work with rural and township communities in South Africa. View the attached flyer here to see how the project started.
