Creating a better future for communities through research

CU Expo 2011

CU Expo is a Canadian-led conference designed to showcase exemplars in community-university partnerships worldwide, and together to introduce creative ways of strengthening our local communities.

CUExpo 2011 happened in Waterloo Region from May 10-14. With 529 conference participants from 16 countries, over 220 outstanding presentations and many social and networking activities, this conference was a success and a showcase of community based research nationally and internationally. We witnessed excellent moments of connection as people learned together and shared both their local and global perspectives.

We received positive feedback from conference delegates and hope the long-term impacts of this wonderful event has begun to unfold world-wide. Please check the CUExpo2011 web site (www.CUExpo2011.ca) for conference highlights.

This event happened from May 10-14, 2011 in Waterloo Region.
