Creating a better future for communities through research

Barbara has been involved with the Centre in several ways starting in the late 80's/early 90's when she discovered the Centre's resources on advocacy for people with disabilities, later as a practicum student from the Community Psychology Graduate Program at Wilfrid Laurier University, and then as a researcher/research assistant on several Centre projects.  Barbara joined the Board of Directors in 2006.

Currently Barbara is the Senior Manager, Evaluation Studies at the Centre for Behavioural Research and Program Evaluation at the University of Waterloo.  Prior to that, Barbara spent six years working at Region of Waterloo Public Health in the Health Determinants, Planning & Evaluation Division.

Barbara lives in Elmira where she keeps busy with family and her volunteer work on the Board of Directors of Woolwich Community Services.
