CCBR presents at the 2009 Living Knowlege Conference in Belfast

Engaged Communities, Engaged Universities: Developing policy and practice in participatory research


The 4th Living Knowledge Conference will take place in Belfast from August 27 - 29 2009 marking the tenth anniversary of the Living Knowledge Network Science Shops. Over time, this network has grown to include a diverse range of community-based researchers, practitioners, international and non-government organisations from across Europe, Canada and North America and has growing membership from the Asia-Pacific region. Joanna Ochocka together with Brenda Roche (Wellesley Institute) will present about Ethics and Community Based Research.

The Global Alliance for Community Engaged Research will be meeting in conjunction with this conference on Aug 26th. CCBR is a member of that group. See this link for more information about this meeting.
