Workshop on Program Planning and Evaluation in CambridgeNov 09, 2007
United Way of Kitchener Waterloo and Area and United Way of Cambridge and North Dumfries are hosting this workshop for funded agencies. During community consultations held in the summer of 2006, local non-profit agencies told us that there is an ongoing need for basic training in the process of program evaluation. There was particular interest in finding ways to integrate program evaluation into the ongoing process of program and organizational management. This full-day workshop responds to these needs. It is intended to provide participants with an overview of the process of program planning and evaluation. The session will be organized around five key stages in the cycle of planning, implementing, and evaluating a program. These stages are:
During this session, participants will create or update a draft program logic model for a program of their choice. This workshop is intended for those interested in a basic introduction to the process of planning, implementing and evaluating programs using an "impact-oriented" mindset.
