2009 ALLIES Learning Exchange: Leading with Ideas

The 2009 ALLIES Learning Exchange was held from June 11-12th in Vancouver, BC. It brought together over 150 people from 17 communities across Canada working in immigrant employment councils/networks including local stakeholders, businesses, civic leaders, universities and colleges, immigrant agencies, and all levels of government in participating communities such as Halifax, Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver. CCBR's Yasir Dildar was a presenter in the "Marketplace" on the evaluation of councils. The purpose of the Marketplace was for delegates to learn about existing products, tools and strategies that are being successfully implemented across the country.
