Community University Expo 2008May 04, 2008
Joanna Ochocka, Rich Janzen, Sarah Marsh and Elin Moorlag made seven presentations at CUexpo 2008 - a conference featuring university-community partnerships designed to strengthen our communities. Presentations included a plenary, two oral papers, two workshops, a roundtable discussion and a poster presentation. CCBR's Community University Research Alliance (CURA) project was invited to the plenary panel of outstanding CURA initiatives to showcase the 10thCURA program anniversary. The panel was chaired by Chad Gaffield, current president of SSHRC. CCBR was an active participant in establishing the Global Community Based Research Network at CUexpo. The conference also launched the Pan Canadian Community-Based Research Network. More conference details. |
